I.  ECG

A.     Measures the electrical activity of the heart – NOT the mechanical activity.

B.     The complexes should be of normal configuration, consistent size and rate

C.     If the complexes look abnormal

                                                   i.      Alert the Dr.

                                                 ii.      Check the patient!
